Up Next: Zombies Ate my Neighbors
As we announced in our last episode, we’re taking a little break from the point-and-click adventures. Our next game is a cult favorite overhead shooter: Zombies Ate My Neighbors.
This game is fun.
You can watch a video of the gameplay to get an idea of how it works. Basically, you’re a kid who fights monsters with kid stuff (squirt guns, soda, fire extinguishers, tomatoes, etc.). With the variety of weapons and level size, it feels like an open-world game mixed with an arcade shooter.
If you’ve got a Wii, you can buy Zombies on Virtual Console for a few bucks and play through as many of the 55 levels as you can before the podcast. If not, your options are limited. Buy a cartridge on ebay and hook up your SNES. We would certainly never recommend that you take the law into your own hands and search online for emulators and roms.
